My work focuses on documenting youth and adolescence, exploring the lives, identities, and realities in the UK, France, and abroad. I am particularly interested in this period of transition, often seen by adults through the lens of rebellion, confrontation, or a refusal to listen. But adolescence is also a time when a sense of self begins to emerge — a moment of questioning, taking a position, testing boundaries, and finding one’s place in society. Above all, I want to give them a voice and create a space where they can express their own experiences, concerns, desires, and ways of seeing the world. Through a positive and empathetic approach, I want to look beyond the labels often associated with teenagers and reveal something heroic in each of them — in their vulnerability, resilience, contradictions, and courage to become themselves.
